After meeting several personal trainers, I decided to work with Coach Monique because she LISTENED to me during our consultation. She’s wasn’t trying to cram a product or an exercise guru’s philosophy down my throat. Very early in our relationship, what I appreciated most was her ability to lead me toward my goal on a path that was tailored specifically to my goals, and how I like to move. After a few weeks, she challenged me with new forms of movement. For example, I do NOT like to run or hop around like a crazy person. When I first met her, I couldn’t do a single push up, and jogging to the mailbox left me feeling like I was going to die….breathless and my heart beating out of my chest. Now I can do pushups and jog 10K without batting an eye! I completed a 5K event and will complete my first Marine Corp 10K this year. With Coach Monique’s help, I am doing things that I never thought possible a year ago. My energy level has skyrocketed! Friends have remarked that I climb stairs with ease and move with more confidence. Although I am still 40 pounds from my weight loss goal, I am in the best shape of my life. I am more toned and stronger than ever. I can leap higher, stretch further, run faster, and workout harder than I could 20 years ago. To wrap up: Coach Monique works with you to create a plan for improvement that is based on where are today and where you want to be in 90 days, six months, or a year. Coach Monique is passionate about and dedicated to her clients. She does all that she can to support them on their journey toward improved physical fitness. Working with Monique is a true blessing. We started at 1 day a week and increased to two days a week. After two months of training with her and changing my eating habits I lost 12 pounds. After 4 months I lost a total of 20 pounds, 4 inches off my waist, 3 inches off my thighs and hips. My arms became tight and cut. I was even told by my co-workers that I had Michelle Obama arms (the MO s). Monique is the real deal. She is an expert at physical fitness and her motivational skills are phenomenal. When Monique was my Personal Trainer, she worked out with me side by side, this was such a big help to me because it made me work a little harder knowing she was there with me. As we were working out together, she would also coach me on my eating habits, ask me questions about what I was eating, and what I should replace the things that I should not be eating with something else that was more healthy. You notice I mentioned “working out together” that’s what it felt like, not a Personal Trainer giving me directions on what to do, and how to work the equipment, we would do it together.
