WEEK 1 ON THE ULTIMATE RESET!
Week of my journey using the Ultimate Reset http://myultimatereset.com/coachmonique was not difficult, but, it was "different." Oftentimes, we get into routines (i.e., ruts) when it comes to what we eat, when we eat and how we plan and prepare the foods we eat on a daily basis. Preparing the foods needed for Week 1 was a bit more time-consuming that I'm use to but as I was preparing the food, I kept reinforcing my "WHY" (the reason I started the Ultimate Reset). At the end of week one, I did feel better, my energy levels were low because of my new food (caloric) intake and I was down 6lbs.
WEEK 2 ON THE ULTIMATE RESET!
Jan. 14, 2013 is the beginning of Week 2 on the Ultimate Reset http://myultimatereset.com/coachmonique. Today was HARD. It started off with having to drink the Detox mixture. OMG!!! How yukky it was, but, I drank it and I survived. I have to keep my WHY in front of me at all times which will enable me to endure this Challenge. I'm also noticing that my appetite is changing. Because of the large amounts of mineralized, distilled water that I'm drinking, its causing my appetite to be less. I will weigh myself at the end of this week to see what my current weight loss is, but, I can definitely see the changes in my body.
January 21, 2013 is the beginning of Week 3 on the Ultimate Reset http://myultimatereset.com/coachmonique. I'm down 7lbs and feeling great. I feel incredibly clean and healthy. What I'm learning more and more during this journey is I have great discipline when I truly put my mind to something. The weight loss is secondary to me when it comes to this program. Knowing that I'm focusing on ME, restoring my health and giving my body a break from all of the hard workouts makes me feel even better. Because of my very busy schedule, I still struggle with preparing all of the meals late at night, but, it's worth forgoing some TV or internet time, to get this done.
I DID IT - I DID IT - I DID IT!!! On January 27th - I ate my last meal while on the Ultimate Reset program. I did the Ultimate Reset program with my husband. He lost 16lbs and I lost 10lbs. While at times the program was difficult - it was so worth it. I ate foods that I never heard of before and enjoyed 50% of them. The other 50%, not so much, but I ate them anyway. The best part of the Ultimate Reset for my husband and I was, on Sunday night, we prepared our breakfast and lunch as if we were still on the Ultimate Reset program. Fresh fruit for breakfast, mixed green salads and steamed veggies for lunch. I do believe this is going to be our normal routine. I feel healthier, my skin is clearer (that's big from a chronic acne suffer) and I feel so ACCOMPLISHED. There were times when I wanted to raid the left-over Christmas candy bowl, bit I didn't. There were times when the cookie monster was after me, but, I didn't give in. I would highly recommend the program to anyone and everyone.
